WEDNESDAY, JUNE 2

Storytime, 11 a.m. – noon.
Visit the farm to hear a story and take a walk. Ages 2 through 5. Registration required. $20 for all four sessions. Maximum of five children plus one caregiver per child. Also: June 9, 16, 23.

THURSDAY, JUNE 3
Nature Study Woods, 808 Webster Ave., New Rochelle
Green Squad, 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Volunteers will remove litter from the trails with our volunteer site leader, partnered with the Regrowth Project. Volunteers must arrive on site with their own mask and practice safe social distancing. All supplies will be provided, but please bring your own water. Volunteers should wear clothes that can get dirty and closed-toe shoes. Contact Erin with questions. Registration required.

FRIDAY, JUNE 4

Caregiver and Me, 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Pre-K ages children and their caregiver get the opportunity to learn about farming, nature and the environment through crafts, stories and walks. Registration required. Ages 2 through 5. $15 per session. Maximum of five children plus one caregiver per child. Also: June 11, 18, 25.

Aquatic Invasive Plant Management, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Volunteers will remove invasive plants from Wampus Pond in waders or rowboats and no experience is necessary. Volunteers must arrive on site with their own mask and practice safe social distancing. All supplies will be provided, but please bring your own water. Volunteers should wear clothes that can get dirty and closed-toe shoes. Contact Erin with questions. Registration required.

SATURDAY, JUNE 5

Morning Farm Chores, 8 a.m.
Participate in farm chores, helping the staff and learning what it takes to be a farmer. For families with children ages 8 and up. Six families of four per session; 24 people maximum, $20 per family of four. Registration required. Also: June 12, 19, 26.

Local farmers offer a variety of produce and food goods from more than 20 local vendors every Sunday through October. COVID protocols will be in effect.

Bronx River Parkway, White Plains to Yonkers: (914) 995-4050
Bicycle Sundays, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. (except July 4 and Sept. 5)
Bike, jog, ride, walk or skate the parkway from the Westchester County Center in White Plains to Scarsdale Road in Yonkers. Bicycle Sundays have been a beloved Westchester tradition since 1974. More than 60,000 participants each year bike, walk and jog a 13.1-mile loop of the Bronx River Parkway from White Plains to Yonkers. Masks are required for all participants.
